Elastomeric Sealing Material, based on special acrylic resins and inorganic fillers, resistant to fire. Characteristics: In case of fire, it has the property of swelling and the inorganic crust that is created slows down the spread of fire. Contains no solvents. After its installation, in contact with atmospheric air, it turns into a cohesive plasto-elastic mass, which adheres to the edges of the joints. It can be applied even on wet surfaces without the use of a primer. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Meets the requirements of BS 476 part 20: 1987.

Description

AREAS OF APPLICATION Recommended for sealing joints between frames and masonry in building installations with fire safety specifications and generally where there is a requirement to delay the spread of fire. It is not suitable for sealing joints permanently immersed in water (eg tanks).
