Description

Dissolves fats, unclogs drains, disinfects. Purity: 99%. Apart from domestic use, it is also used in many other applications, such as electrolysis, biofuel production, processing of raw materials, etc.

Uses:

✔ As an acidity regulator in food and to enhance the industrial peeling of fruits, to enhance the color of oils and to make caramel.

✔ In the traditional preparation of soaps with the process of saponification.

✔ In the artificial silk industry.

✔ In cotton processing.

✔ In the purification of oils.

✔ In the synthetic paint industry and in various compositions.

✔ In the processing of bauxite during the production of aluminum with the Bayer method.

✔ In paper production together with sodium sulphide during the separation of lignin from cellulose fibers and in pulp bleaching.

✔ In the production of biodiesel as a catalyst in its anhydrous form during the transesterification of methanol and triglycerides.

✔ In the sequestration of carbon dioxide originating from the respiration of living organisms in closed spaces.

✔ In pH regulation during the production process of narcotic substances such as methamphetamine.

✔ As a cleaner of furnaces and stainless tanks in wineries and breweries.

✔ In chemical analysis to determine the concentration of acid solutions by titration.
